Flow Communications is a full service digital agency. At my time at Flow I was responsible for building eCommerce stores, online learning systems, listing directories, blogs and brochure sites. This was achieved through ExpressionEngine and CraftCMS using unique their templating languages along with the usual supporting HTML, CSS and JavaScript. Additionally I made use of preprocessors and compilers such as LESS, SCSS, Grunt and gulp. I leveraged libraries and frameworks such as Twitter Bootstrap and jQuery. We made use of GIT for version control, along with BitBucket as our code repository. I was also responsible for building emailing campaign mailer templates and working alongside PHP Developers in building bespoke functionality for Laravel projects.
In my final year at Flow, I assumed the responsibilities of a team lead within the website development team; I developed internal processes for project managers to streamline writing briefs and assisted with writing specifications. I attended client meetings, inception workshops, wrote quotes, conducted internal and external training and engaged in mentoring.
